Under the care of the administrators of Tsinghua and headquarter of the alumni association, with the support of the faculty members, students and alumni, the Tsinghua Alumni Association of DPI branch was officially established on April 29, 2018. The establishment of Alumni Association makes the alumni work of DPI on the right track.

In our professional capacity, we remain steadfast to the motto "preserving our roots, dedicated to alumni service." Proactively, we foster relationships, enhance outreach efforts, and uphold the legacy of Tsinghua University to facilitate the development of our alumni through diverse service platforms. We established a number of professional groups including entrepreneurship, investment, intellectual property, optics, alongside several grade-based groups.

In response to the new media era, we created a special section for alumni promotion, showcasing the charm of precision instrument professionals within our thriving nation, organized and participated in the establishment of local alumni organizations represented by the Precision  Instrumentation alumni Association of Tsinghua University in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Leveraging the "Tsinghua University 9003+" alumni event brand, we continuously carried out alumni activities, and has now formed characteristic brand projects such as the "Precision Instrumentation Alumni Forum" and the "Precision Instrumentation Entrepreneurship Roadshow". In addition, we fully explored the deep value of characteristic brands, resulting in the creation of original cultural and creative products tailored for the Precision Instrumentation Department.

The alumni association provides channels and supports to alumni in feeding back alma mater and helping the development and construction of department. The total scholarship which is funded by alumni has been increasing every year and it has helped hundreds of students whose family has financial difficulties. Based on alumni resources, we invite alumni to return to campus and participate in various student activities, helping students establish a correct outlook on life, values, and career selection. In partnership with alumni enterprises, we provide substantial support for internships and employment opportunities for students.

In the future, the alumni association of DPI will adhere to the university motto, work steadily, building a platform between alumni and university, and achieving mutual benefits.
