Tsinghua’s 51th Ma Yuehan Cup Sports Meet was held on April 27. Student teams from each department participated in the competitions. University Leaders headed by President Gu Binglin and University Council Chairman Chen Xi attended the morning opening ceremony.  

The Ma Yuehan Cup includes a series of sports activities held throughout the year which culminates in the final competition every spring. The Cup is named in honor of famed physical education teacher Ma Yuehan, who started his 50-year career at Tsinghua in 1914.
